Walied Soliman is a Toronto based lawyer and partner at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP. Walied’s deepest commitment is to his family. He and his wife Deena reside in Toronto with their children. Deena was the driving force behind the creation of their three scholarships. Her passion to help those that have been marginalized radiates into different projects within the Muslim community and beyond. An example of her commitment is felt annually by the Muslim community in the Regent Park area, where she undertakes an annual fundraising drive.
Both Walied and Deena believe that the purpose of true success is to give back to others. Despite their very busy schedules, they are passionate about mentoring youth. It is their hope that the scholarships that they have donated will serve to help youth on their journey towards greater excellence.
